A Personal Life Update + My Content Schedule for the Rest of 2022

Blogging, writing, creating.... these 3 words used to hold a lot of meaning to me, but because of life being busy (taking classes and such), I've kind of just fallen off the horse when it comes to this one hobby... the rest kind of just went downhill along with it until today.

If there's one thing I know I tend to get hung up on a little too often sometimes, it's my need for control. If I can't have my way, then frustration tends to simmer within me. Another fault I tend to have is being stubborn. Stubborn to listen to my conscience or the advice of others (in all honesty though, this is something that I feel like I'm starting to do less of recently), acting on impulses and just finding it hard to resist any urges I have that aren't in alignment with my growth as a person. It's really easy these days to get caught in some kind of mousetrap where you're engaging in behaviors that you know aren't the healthiest, but you're finding it hard to stop. Whether it's eating too many carbs, spending too much money on things you don't need, checking your phone too often when you should be working or even using it too much before bed (or when you first wake up in the morning).... I'm guilty of these habits. I hate admitting it, but there's the truth for you.

This post really doesn't have a purpose or lesson behind it; it doesn't really have a meaning behind it either. For this next paragraph however, I kind of just want to give an outline of what you can expect when it comes to what kind of content I have planned. I keep finding ideas, but then I'll delete them days or weeks later because I don't think the topic is good enough to discuss or write about. As of right now, I have 2 ideas in the works. I feel like going forward with my blog, I'm going to try and be a little less rigid and strict with how I go about my routine. I've probably said this once already in the past, and at that time, that kind of plan actually helped with expanding my creativity. I want to try and continue doing things that way because I've grown quite tired of writing about certain topics like minimalism or anything lifestyle related. Here's what I have in mind for now:

1. Style vs. Fashion: What Am I Able to Take Away From Each Definition?

2. Pixar's Turning Red: An Analysis of Mother-Daughter Relationships + The Culture & History Behind the Movie

Here are some other ideas that I think would be fun to talk about in the future:

    I. Style vs. Fashion (part 2): How I Incorporate Trends into My Wardrobe

II. Style vs. Fashion (part 3): My Top Favorite Accessories & How I Use Them to Enhance My Style

III. Style vs. Fashion (part 4): Which Colors Work Best for My Wardrobe & Why I Chose Them

IV. Boredom is Okay, But How Can I Get Out of It?

    V. How to Gain More Creativity & Inspiration

VI. An Update on My Creative Process & How I Come Up With New Ideas

I hope you'll stick around and enjoy these topics I have in mind once they've been worked on and published. If you want to stay in touch with me, feel free to follow me on Twitter or Instagram.
