New Anime Recommendations (Updated Watch List)

It's been a while since I've made an updated anime post, so here you go! Let me know if you watch any of these anime listed below, and I hope you enjoy!

Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba)- I honestly didn't know what to expect with this one, but one thing I know for sure is that the characters are unique and enjoyable. Essentially, Demon Slayer is about a boy (named Tanjiro) who loses his family to a demon who invaded his home. The only person who survived the mess was his sister, Nezuko, but she's not fully human. In order to make her human again, Tanjiro enlists himself into the Demon Slayer Corps.

Attack On Titan- This anime in all honesty is hard to follow sometimes, and the payoff for new plot developments is slow, but Attack On Titan serves a good amount of action that'll keep you on your toes. I think what's kept me reeled in is the music and action, as well as some of the dialogue. Eren is the main character, and he loses his family to an invasion of giant sized humans (known as Titans). These TItans may seem dimwitted or weird at first glance, but you'll definitely learn more about them as the anime progresses.

Food Wars! (Shokugeki no Soma)- So unlike the last two anime in this list, this one focuses on a boy named Yukihira Soma, and he does have parents. His mother isn't seen or talked about in full, but his father does have some involvement later on. To put the plot's story line simply, let's just say you'll have to grab a bowl, a mixing spoon and your competitive spirit in order to survive these cooking challenges! This anime takes place at a cooking school, and while the first impressions of some of the students may seem stereotypical, there's actually more to them than what meets the eye- that is, as long as you're looking to look past some nudity.

Dr. Stone- With Food Wars being my favorite anime to date, I'd have to say that Dr. Stone takes second place. With Senku being the main character of this one, the plot is very science-driven, but in a way that's goofy at times as well as light-hearted. In this world, all of modern society has been wiped out with its population being turned to stone. This means that the world must be rebuilt by none other than Senku himself. It may take years, and he can't do it all alone, but it will be done all in the name of science!
