To preface this, let me just say that the way I found out about Olivia was partially due to my own curiosity, but it's also because Olivia is one of the main cast members for High School Musical: The Musical: The Series on DisneyPlus. Her voice is so undeniably unique, and her songwriting skills are incredible. Mind you, she's currently 20 and has been out of high school for a while now, but when she was part of the HSM series, she was carrying on a lot more responsibilities behind the scenes... Songwriting and making music, to say the least, gave her an outlet.
In the show, Olivia's full character name is Nina Salazar-Roberts. I only mention this because the producers kept up a good pace of making sure that Nini's storyline would hold similarities to what Olivia was going through in her own life away from the show. Within the series at least, Olivia has written 4 original songs for the show: "Granted", "The Rose Song", "Out of the Old" and "All I Want". Her first debut album SOUR, in contrast, holds songs that are more personal to Olivia herself as a person.
Now I'm not about to review every song that's on the track list, but what I will say before revealing the song titles is that some of these songs focus on this one relationship she got involved with. Who that person is does not matter, but the messages that are carried in them are something that a lot of people have connected with in one way or another. With all of that said, feel free to look up these songs on YouTube or any other music streaming platform you use!
